iphone 5c went dead

my iphone 5c went dead this afternoon. working fine earlier and now nothing. any ideas what this might be

Try plugging it into iTunes and see if the device shows up

If non of the suggestions don't work, make an appointment with Apple.

Try holding down the lock and the home buttons together for a period of time to manually reset the phone if you haven't already done so. As someone else said, take it into Apple if nothing works.
