I need to update my iPad sometime this weekend and test out some things. I've been neglecting it for a couple of weeks......

Yeah! It certainly looks like the iPadOS15 betas are getting pretty stable now, so I’ve just updated my M1 iPad Pro 11”, and my backup iPhone XR.
Decided to leave my day to day iPhone 12 on iOS14.7 for the moment, just in case.

The latest version is the final RC (Release Candidate), so I would imagine the Public Version will appear sometime next week.

Go ahead and install the beta on your iPad. There isn’t that much difference between iPadOS and iOS, in my opinion.

Apple have been sending out emails encouraging people to download the iOS15/iPadOS15 Public Betas, probably to gather as much information from testers as possible before the official release.

I received an email from Apple within the past few days seeking beta testers. It actually caught me by surprise being I’ve been a beta tester for years and am typically on a beta build year round.
