iPadOS 14.7 released

I have seen reports that iPadOS 14.7 has been released.

I’m running the 15 beta. But for those on 14, start your updates

I successfully downloaded/installed the update without issue late this morning.

That’s definitely frustrating! The App developers need to update their apps!

I have an application with all my recorded films. Updated last time. Then these applications did not work. These were on all three iPads. The same application.

I found a way to transfer these films over to another application. If I update iPad that application might not work.

Some of theses developers have not updated their applications like forever.

You can not even contact them.

These are the risks of software.

Unless the developer has a good track record or has an essential app for my work, I won’t commit to the app.

Unfortunately, if the developer ceases developing the software or disappears altogether, there is little one can do.

Writing software is very expensive, so it’s not surprising.

That would be amazing, but if the developer went out of business (e.g.: bankruptcy), there would be nothing Apple or you could do.

That is another problem. The only way to get around this is not update devices.

I’m on iPadOS 14.8 now. so far, no glitches as yet.
