iPad 2 Lagging Big Time Since iOS8

iPhone 5S is fine as far as speed but battery is poor.

iPad 2 is really dragging.

The chip on the iPad 2 is sort of old now.

I have the same thing happening with my IPad 2.

Let's hope the next update fixes this.
If I not mistaken, it usually comes out soon after the major update.

Im experiencing the opposite. Seems a little snappier than the last version of iOS 7.
Double tap for multitasking seems better for me on iOS 8. I thought my home button was starting to fail but now it seems good as new.
I restored with 8 as a new device but I did that a few times with 7 and the home button was still kind of wonky.
