If you're getting that while on GM this is probably a different build number.

Interesting... the General Availability Release is build 13A344. The GM was 13A340. What's different?

So far so good on one device. 24 mins left on my iPad Air 2. My iPhone 6 Plus started, but then failed and now always comes up with the Software Update Failed message.

Spoke too soon. iPad crapped out too.
