Mine works fine. No problems. Mine has two ports, one for USB A and one for Lightning, not USB C, since some USB 3 devices require more power than the iPhone can provide. The Lightning port is only for power and not for data transfer. There is no USB 3 Camera Adaptor from Apple with USB C.
