I erased all content on my iPad and now my iPad won't recognize my computer. How can I fix this?

I "erased all content" on my IPad and now my iPad won't recognize my computer.

I have was trying to clean my iPad out by erasing all it's content and now It won't come on because I have to connect to iTunes but apparently my iPad won't recognize my computer, it just keeps connecting and disconnecting none stop. I have tried everything to get my iPad to connect with my computer but nothing works, the only thing that is shown is a message telling me to connect to iTunes and like I said, it won't.HELP ME PLEASE!

Was the battery low? Try plugging in with a charger for a few hours - then try the computer again... reboot the computer first...
