I don't care about my M2 iPad Air’s graphics cores, but I do care about misleading specs sheets

The actual performance specs of how it compares with previous models, were true. So the “Amp” goes up to “11” the performance is there. Somebody maybe needs to proof things more thoroughly.

This is a really weird mistake on Apple’s part, but since the performance touted for the iPad is the effective performance everyone has, there is no real damage. The device is as fast as they had told you it would be. It would be a different story if they had sold a device that would end up being slower than advertised.

The GPU does have 10 cores. It's just that one of these is "binned", i.e. disabled due to manufacturing defect. Instead of being thrown in the trash, it ends up in your iPad only with a defective core disabled. So, yeah, technically you do have 10 cores in your GPU, strictly speaking.
