I cannot use the slide button to unlock my phone it keeps saying the date and time

My phone keeps saying the time date or it says slide to the camera but I cannot use the slide button to unlock
I need help

Try a hard reset, which does not delete any data from the device: press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Then release the buttons and allow the phone to reboot. If that doesn't work you can either do a factory reset (erases the phone and re-installs the OS), or take the phone in to the Apple store and allow someone at the Genius Bar to help you.
