Personally I think they’ll adapt the Watch naming scheme and just call it the iPhone X series II.

What do you guys think?

I think this 10th anniversary edition should be the only one sporting the X. Then at 20 years they do Something else

I personally think this is the last time we will see numbers. They will simply be called "The iPhone"

Some initially thought they’d adopt the iPad naming so the new iPhone would be called iPhone/iPhone Pro.

I’ll tell you once Apple announces it

I think the X replaces the 4.7" model next year. And a larger version of the X replaces the 5.5" model. It would have a total screen size of over 6", but would be close to the form factor size of the current Plus. I don't see an anniversary model each year.

Yep, iPhone 11 and 11+ I think, the iOS 11 GM firmware has code for a 6.5” screen iPhone X. So I’m thinking the 8 and 8 Plus this year were to ease the transition into FaceID and no home button.

The problem is pricing. Will they start at $999 for the 8s (or 9)? Surely not.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say they’ll call it iPhone X. They stuck with OS X for so long I can definitely see them sticking with the same name.

I wish they could name their iOS devices like their Macs where it goes by year or like Samsung does where it's essentially by generation.
