Let's hope so...and let's also hope that we can dump our old 3gs on the no contract market for at least as much as we bought them for new!!!

I assume the 3rd gen (or 4g as you call it) will cost the same, but with more flash, $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB.

I don't think the 3g technology will change b/c att hasn't upgraded their network to anything beyond 3g yet as far as I have heard, so it will be a 3rd generation iPhone, but not sure what they will call it to differentiate it from the 3g?

Maybe iPhone 3g Pro or iPhone 3g 2?

I agree. For anyone who purchased the 3G Iphone through ATT or Apple, they will probably do an early upgrade. Hopefully the prices will be comparable to last year.
