how long should it take to delete an account on a mac desktop

bought new machine. tried to upload memory from windows computer into iCloud. unsuccessful. used migration assistant with different account. successful. tried to delete first account. that was 3 days ago. still waiting.

To answer the thread question, it doesn't take long at all. Try restarting the machine and then check to see if the account has been deleted.
