How do you take one note out of the note app and put it in an Apples File Folder. Then Lock it. Plus transfer to and old iPhone.

It’s not the easiest process but here’s how I got it to work for me.

  • From the note you want to save to Files, select the share button.
  • Select "Send Copy"
  • Then click "Save to Files". You can choose to save it to either your iCloud Drive or directly onto your device. I recommend saving it into a folder, which you may want to set up ahead of time.

Thank you, but my brain stopped for a bit and could not find Share. Ever since my iPhone 3, I never used a lot of the features. I was trying to send from a 15 Pro Max to my old iPhone 6. I figured it out. By using airdrop. Putting the top of both phones together and waiting. What was funny. When I sent it. It was there. But when back to the list of notes on the 6, it wasn’t there. I had to copy the whole note and pasted it into a blank new note. It then. I have a bunch of iPhones and I use the 6 because it doesn’t get updates. And I never connect it the Wi-Fi so no internet, nothing. I use it to store passwords.
