How can I remove the camera from appearing on the lockscreen?

I don't think you can move the camera from the lockscreen, but I could be wrong.

You can't remove that, unless there's a jailbreak tweak for it. But it's a nice feature to have when you want that shot in a hurry!

I'm reviving this zombie thread. Any updates on how to accomplish disabling the camera from a locked iOS screen? My son likes to take my iPad when I'm not around and take literally hundreds of pictures of random household objects, the cats, his room, etc.

I looked through the settings and couldn't find anything.

The only way I know is to toggle Camera off in restrictions. That would stop any use of the camera, including 3rd party camera apps or any app that uses the camera. But it can easily be turned on when you need it.
