How Can I Find My Home Icon?

5s, 10.2

My Home icon has disappeared from my 5s. I have more apps than screens, so it's not surprising that it might have slipped of the grid. I can access and use the app via Spotlight Search but the icon is no en la casa.

I synced my phone to iTunes, which I seldom do, in the hopes of the icon showing up on the virtual screens. A search in iTunes doesn't find the app. My iPad has the Home icon/app and it shows up in iTunes, both on the screens and in the iTunes app search. Not on my phone, though.

Did the usual On/Off and Restart voodoo, no joy. I don't want to do a Restore, but it may come to that, as a very last resort. I'm hoping the next 10.2 update might shake it chase it out of it's spider hole.

You can always go to Settings → General → Reset, and then select "Reset Home Screen Layout" or "Reset All Settings".

Thanks, JMD! Reset Home Screen Layout did the trick! It made a mess of my Home screen and related folders, but my Home is back and that's the important part! :D
