I'm so lost right now...
I have an iPhone that's a first generation, with 2.2 firmware.
I've done everything right, and even put it in DFU mode, but when it goes into that mode, my itunes isn't recognizing it? It gives me an error message that says that it detects an ipod but it's not legit basically. All I need to do is have it recognize and I can upload the new custom firmware.
I have a macbook..but not one of the brand new ones. I'm not sure what's happening??
