Health App not syncing?

Sorry if this is the wrong area, wasn't sure where this belonged.......

In preparation for a possible move from FitBit + Myfitnesspal to a Watch + MFP I tried to set up the Health app on my iPhone X with 11.2.6 to get MFP to sync over nutrition stuff to the health app. It doesn't seem to work no matter what I try though. I enabled all the write permissions in the health app for MFP but after 24 hours nothing has synced over. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm, well I'm not sure what changed but it seems to be syncing now. It's not always correct, like carbs had double entries from a few things, but it has synced today and yesterday finally.
