At present,there have several types of iphone4 unlocked cards,such as : gevey superme,gevey sim card,gevey pro as well as gevey ultra.It seems that both of them can well unlock iphone4,yet,till now,gevey superme wasn't admitted by gevey official,so here i will make a simple comparison of the rest three cards.
As we all knew,Gevey sim card is the first generation card from gevey.com. But if you use this card to unlock our iphone4,you have to go through the activation procedure everytime you restart the phone. Anyway,it bring a new start for iphone4 unlock.
Then in the wake of gevey sim,here came another upgrade version,named gevey pro,which fix the problem of dailing 112 everytime when restart the phone and According to ApplenBerry, the new IC in Gevey Pro is much faster and now support SIM cards of multiple carriers,but no difference in the unlocking speed. You still need to dial 112 and do rest of the unlock procedure manually.
The striking features of gevey ultra lies in it doesn't need dialling 112 any more,and It works on all released versions of iOS 4, including iOS 4.0, 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2,and 4.3.3 ,as well as iOS 5 beta, with basebands 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10 and 4.10.1.yet unlike GEVEY & GEVEY Pro, GEVEY Ultra will require users to jailbreak their iPhone 4.(Jailbreaking is necessary to install a package from Cydia. The package FuriousMod, which is available in the following repository: cydia.furiousmod.com, will automatically carry out the 112 procedure required for activating fake IMSI. So, even if your iPhone 4 reboots, the package will automatically take care of getting Network access.)
How to use Ultra
Step 1: Remove your SIM card, by inserting a paper clip into the pinhole next to your SIM slot, and cut it to fit the tray that should come with the GEVEY package. Never cut into the circuitry.
Step 2: Launch Cydia and add the following repository: cydia.furiousmod.com. Then locate the "FuriousMod" package and install it. After that?s done, a "No SIM card installed" error will pop up, that?s OK. Before proceeding, make sure your phone is turned off.
Step 3: Place the GEVEY SIM on the tray, along with your own SIM on top of it. Make sure both cards are on the tray, then insert it back into your phone.
Step 4: Power your phone back on and wait around 40 seconds for your signal to be detected. Ignore any errors and don?t interact with the device until your phone picks up the signal.
Step 5 : In order to get 3G, turn on Roaming Mode by going into Settings > General > Network and selecting "Data Roaming".
How to distinguish real Gevey Ultra from fake ones :
IC chip & sim tray. The IC chip has certain information printed on the black part. This printed information helped users to determine original & fake 1st generation GEVEY Sims. So if you?ve got a GEVEY Ultra chip without any printed information on the black IC, then probably your GEVEY Ultra is cloned.
