So I finally decided, as one of the few things left to do, to forward my Gmail address to my iCloud address, mainly for testing purposes. Over the past few days everything seems to be running smooth, but it seems Adobe doesn't like the forward. I've been getting a few of these emails:

So far it seems to only be happening with Adobe. Not a big deal as I can log into my Adobe account and change my email address if I have to, but just thought I'd pass this along if anyone else was thinking about doing it.
