Fix iPod Touch 4G

I have an iPod Touch 4G that unexpectedly entered Soft DFU Mode after a successful jailbreak.
Also, the home button doesnt work.
How do I get it out of Soft DFU Mode?

What is "soft DFU mode"? I've never heard of that. As for getting out of DFU mode, turn the device off and then turn it back on or reboot it by simultaneously pressing and holding the home and power buttons until you see the logo.

Yea but my home button is not working..

You re basically not going to be able to do anything until after you've gotten the home button fixed.

You can use AssistiveTouch in place of the home button. See here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3401

Once you get that set, then do as Just_Me_D suggests in post #2 to get out of DFU Mode.
