Early HomePod 2 reviews suggest it's just as good as the old one

There were a handful of reviewers given access to the HP 2 demo. You chose the one and only review that said ‘meh, it’s fine. It probably sounds as good as the OG HomePod’.
Apple cherry picked songs and demo environment. That’s marketing but congrats on taking cherry picking to a whole new level.
HP 2 will sound better than OG HP. It’s a 5 year span from OG HP to HP 2 release. This is harsh but how glib do you have to be to not believe the audio tech has way surpassed that of 5 years ago? I can’t even believe there are bloggers/writers will push otherwise.

Whether the 299 cost is worth it is the question.
