Silly question... for those of you who kept the beta profile for iOS 10, did the beta update automatically appear in "check for software update"?

I had to hit check update and it appeared. Yes I have the profile still installed. If not then it wouldn't have appeared.

I had to hit check update and it appeared. Yes I have the profile still installed. If not then it wouldn't have appeared.

Thank you. The reason I asked is because I wanted off the beta and people were telling me I needed to reset and restore from a backup I did before installing the beta. I didn't understand the reasoning in that so I didn't do it. I deleted the beta profile and decided to wait it out and see what happened when the next update rolled out.

Just installed it from IPSW and for the first time I got a message on the screen while it was installed that it was attempting to recover data. After it was done my phone was back up on 10.1 b1

Now we go test!

I figured they would go to 10.1 for the next update.

10.0.1 feels a lot like a ".0" release

It's only on the iPhone 7 Plus.
Other devices don't have a dual camera so they'll be not getting this option.

Looks like they're trying to "fix" message effects with reduce motion. I can do this but still can't send or view. Anyone else?

I haven't looked at the release notes yet but I know for sure it includes portrait mode in the Camera app for the 7 Plus.
