Delete Tunes from iphone

Hello,

I'm new to the site. 60 something dance professional living in New England.
I restored my iphone3G after it crashed after downloading the recent updates. It works fine now but I have accumulated a lot of music that I want to delete.

I can't seem to figure out how that's done through the phone or itunes short of doing another restoration.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You have to delete the music from your computer/mac

You must go to iTunes on your computer and make the changes in whatever folder you have marked to sync with your phone. If you are currently syncing your while library I would creat a folder specifically for you phone and add what you want then t
change which folder you'll be syncing once you have plugged in the phone go to the music tab.

Also I would turn off automatic syncing. It gives the user more control.
