Creating Folders On The Files App

Hello,
I guess this question is broader than just creating folders...I've had high hopes with using the Files app that Apple has made. I'm. Able to see internet locations like Box, iCloud, etc. Local storage shows a Pixelmator folder, PDF Expert, and a couple others.

I can't always save files to the files app and I don't see how to create folders.

Any how-to's out there or more detailed info on it?

Anyone having a good and useful experience using that app?

To create a new folder in the Files app, simply press and hold on an empty space and then select “New Folder”. After that, give it a title.

I wished that worked...It allows me to make a new folder in the pixelmator folder, but no where else.

I'd like to create a folder outside of that folder, say for documents, etc
