Contacts transfer problems

Hi:
I am a newbie with a NEW 1G iphone. Had it unlocked and using it with T-Mobile. No real problems so far except the contacts from the Razr SIM (phone book contacts) didn't all transfer to the iphone. About 60 did transfer. Really confusing and hoping there is a fix for this.

For me it was easiest to transfer the contacts to my laptop and then to my iPhone. I'm using Windows Contacts with Vista.
