Charging when iphone switched off?

Hi all,

Seeking advice please.

Two queries :-

(A) May I ask if the charging will be faster if the iphone is switched off please?

(B) Also, will the battery be spoilt when I switched off my iPhone and charge it? Which is better?

1. Will charge the same speed on or off.

2. Makes no difference. Will not harm your battery.

Mostly yes. Since you will be using your phone while it's being charged. And even if you don't then also there will be some background process. But I dont feel there will be a huge difference

Has no difference.

There's no drain on the phone when off, so it will charge slightly faster. But you'll lose all your notifications. Airplane mode also charges faster but not quite as fast as being off.

No issues with charging this way with respect to the battery.
