Can you change colors with Applecare?

I'm pretty sure you can't but the reason I ask this was because someone on Macforums a while ago said they brought in their phone 3 or 4 times for Applecare and that last time they got a different color. I'm extremely skeptical as to if that is true. Why would they just let you get a different color? That'd be cool if they could but I highly doubt they would do that. I don't know if that person was lying or if the Genius bent the rules a little. Have any of you heard anything like this?

That Apple store probably ran out of the iPhone that the guy from macforums brought in so they had to swap it with a different color. I highly doubt they would just swap out your iPhone for a different color.

No. You have to keep the same color.
