Can I pair my Macbook Pro with the new Apple TV?

I do not own a television but I do own a Macbook Pro. Will I be able to pair my Mac with the new Apple TV to watch television on it? Is there something I can subscribe to, to get cable on it?

Welcome to iMore! There really isn't anything that TV offers that you can't just get directly on your MacBook. As of today there is no streaming TV service through TV, although it isn't out of the realm of possibility in the future.
