sunnysideup : i have same problem i brought an iphone 5s from best buy at full retail around 750 usd but when i tried putting sim card it wont accept then i contacted apple they told it is linked to At&t when i contacted At&t they told this device doesnt have any contract with us. what shall i do now they are sending me here there everywhere without any solution.

Yes. Get the Verizon Version as it has all the radios (GSM,and CDMA) and is the only version that comes unlocked out of the box.

Thats the site you need to request the device to be unlocked by att.
