Automatic Downloads Frustration

I turned off automatic updates and five apps STILL automatically updated ������ Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

I don’t think all of the apps are on my iPad. Will my phone automatically download app updates on my phone with my iPad being on the same account?
