Are you interested in the Apple Watch 10 or the Ultra 2?

Key features for the new Series 10 include:
thinner, bigger display, wide-angle OLED display that is brighter, new jet black aluminum, three titanium finishes (lighter than stainless), new health features (it wasn't clear if this was a software (and thus possibly available on older models) or hardware innovation, new water temp sensor

AFAIK, the only new feature for the Ultra 2 is the option of a black titanium case.

So, are you interested in either of these watches? If so, are there particular features that attract you?

For now, I'm sticking with my AW6 (used mostly when I'm sleeping) and my Ultra 1.

I just replaced my Apple Watch Series 5 to a Series 9 in April, so nope. I’m not upgrading. I do have to say that the thinner Jet Black Series 10 looked great on my TV,

The health features are coming to the Series 9 and Ultra 2 if the local health authority approves it. From what I read, Health Canada has not given approval for the Sleep Apnea feature (yet).
And yes, Ultra 2 is only a new colour finish. Nothing else is new.

Got the Ultra 2 years ago, when it was first released. Strongly considering going with a black Ultra 2, while I can still get good value on a trade in of my current model.

I going to assume you meant you got the original Watch Ultra when it was first released two years ago, but you’re considering purchasing the newly introduced black Watch Ultra 2.

I have an Ultra 2 that I bought before Apple disabled the blood oxygen measurements. I talked to Apple and the New Apple Ultra 2 in black will not include blood oxygen measurements. So NOPE I will not be getting the new black Ultra 2.

I'm still good with my Ultra 1. Next year probably for the Ultra 3, if it's out - my watch's battery is at 90% health after almost two years, so I don't think it will be in good shape after a third year.

I've read someone who said that the Ultra 2 does have the ability to play media from the speaker, like the Series 10 can. However, the every second update on always-on display (so watch faces can have a second hand when the watch is on AOD) is exclusive to the new display on the Series 10 and won't be available on the Ultra 2.

Finally the trail loop band has decent color options, but I'm still not planning to buy one at this point. When I buy next year, though, I hope they're still decent. The new Ultra Milanese band looks nice, but it's not for me.

That said - I hope that someday Apple decides to allow purchasing just the watch without a band for those of us that after ten years have more than enough bands.

My thinking pretty much parallels yours. For now, the only change that really appeals to me is the black titanium, so hopefully that will still be available on Ultra 3.

I’ve owned the following Watch models.

Original Watch
Watch Series 3
Watch Series 5

I currently own an Watch Ultra 2. I’ve kept my Series 5 from when it was released until last year when I bought my Ultra 2. An Watch is not something I plan to buy annually or even semi-annually. More than likely, I’ll keep it for at least 5 years, barring any unforeseen damages or the battery stops working properly.
