i fully realize that the iphone 5 reveal be at the september event. but i also posted this in the ipad mini forum.

That is the away it appears. Looks like iPods and iPhone is next week and one month later it will be the iPads turn. Possibly two of them.

Not that I would possibly know anything either, OTHER than thinking about getting a mini, BUT I too have been hearing Oct, and that Sept 12th's thing will be ipods and the iphone 5.

I wasn't being rude. You asked if the Apple announcement was still "on" ... I simply asked if you had information that the Apple invitation was not accurate. Now asking for clarification is rude? SMH.
