Yeah it’s not updated for the Max yet apparently, they know about it so hopefully it’s fixed sooner rather than later.

Don't hold your breath. I still use some apps that were never optimized for the iPhone 6 plus. (Yeah I'm talking to you EA Sports!!!)

My suggestion is pursue in app feedback and app store reviews with titles calling for an update. I did a Microsoft User Voice entry for the Office 365 admin app not updated to full screen, and Cisco feedback for Meraki.

I get apps updating for the Max and iOS 12 every day. It's not easy for some app developers. Depends on what kind of app and what has to be updated.

Apple should start by optimizing the homescreen. No reason they couldn't shrink down the app icons - which are now HUGE - to a smaller size and have more apps per screen. Also wish you could line up icons from the bottom up.

Wells Fargo has updated their app up until the X except their icon still isn’t retina. Retina was introduced in 2010
