Apple visual voice mail

Don’t waste your money on Verizon’s version of visual voice mail. Apple is FREE!
Call Verizon and they will set it up. I have had for over 6 months. Maybe longer. Works the same way!

I've had Apple's visual voice mail a long time. Not sure what Verizon's version offers that Apple's doesn't have. I checked. Verizon's sends the voicemail as a text message.

Apparently, it's different. Verizon offers it to show as a text message in the messages app. Apple's only shows in the voicemail section of the phone app.

Not voice message. It's like in iMessage. A regular text message like you would get from a friend. Like this.
