Hey Guys,!

So I got this Gen 3 that's completely dead, no light , nothing what so ever,.
I read on google that it's quite common that the PSU goes bad.

I read another post saying that you can enter "Recovery Mode" via the USB on the back, And if it start blinking then it's 100% the psu as it draws power directly to the logic board and bypassing the powersupply,.

The question is... do I have to have a Mac to hook it up with usb or does it work with Windows ?
I'm getting no life signs when I hook it to my windows pc..

EDIT: It was the power supply, i replaced it from ebay and voila!!

Only on a Mac, I’m afraid.
