100% agree with Annie. X is what Apple is offering in the HomePod. Far too much glib reviews whining about HomePod doesn’t do Z. As the writer stated, the Homepod is meant as a curated experience. If you’re looking for non curated then it’s best to look elsewhere. There’s a number of other options.

Audio has a subjective element. I see most reviewers testing with a highly specific genre of music. Unless otherwise stated that the review is for only this genre, it is an extremely dishonest review. Even slight audiophiles know that almost no device is perfect across the wide range of music genres. +1 to this writer for using several music genres.
