Amazon Prime Video grabs Doctor Who video streaming rights in the U.S.

Amazon has signed a multi-year deal with the BBC that will give Amazon Prime Video exclusive rights in the U.S. to stream the reboot of the Doctor Who sci-fi franchise. The first eight seasons will be available on the service on March 27, with the ninth season coming this fall.
