'12 Days of Gifts' app background as live wallpaper?

is it possible/permissible for someone (with more technical knowledge than me) to extract the '12 Days of Gifts' app background in order to create a live wallpaper?

I had this same thought the moment I saw it! Hopefully someone with a more technical background sheds some more light on the topic. Looks way cooler than the stock live wallpapers.
