109 days between US carriers release and unlocked version

Is 109 days normal for the wait time?

Anybody care to do the research for the interim on the 5s, 5, 4s, 4, etc.?

No because there was an unlocked version available on Sept 19th. All you had to do is pay full price.

It's funny that this has been a bigger story than anything at CES this week.

You cannot say it is the official Apple "unlocked" model or version when you are reselling it and this model add more radios for Far East use.

In other words, it not factory unlocked if you purchase the T-Mobile version.

There is only two U.S. Models: this model and the Verizon model that are "factory unlocked" models.

Yes it is. Apple even went as far as advertising the T-Mobile version as unlocked before the Sim-free version was released.
