Facetime HD Camera on OSX Mavericks

I am not able to use the camera of my MacBook Air 2012 since I upgraded to OSX Mavericks.
The camera switches on for two minutes and then freezes. It wont switch back on until the Mac is restarted. Is anyone else facing similar issues.

There are others who have reported the same same time issue when I Googled the same. I will wait for a few more to report back.

I'm sorry for just now seeing this message, but to answer your question, No. I use the MacBook early 2009 model running OS X Mavericks.
