NSData vs NSString

I'm well aware of the difference of NSData and NSString, but my curiosity is from a storage point of view, if I am to load a file into an NSString object , how much more memory would it be vs if the file is loaded into an NSData object.

Nice question - might be worth trying it both ways, see which object is smaller.
