I know there is no native app for sms for our beloved Ipads, however i found an app that lets you text someones number using an internet connection. Did i mention its free(ad supported)? I did test it out using my blackberry and it works very well. It's called Text plus in case anyone was interested. CIAO

Text Magic doesn't have any ads, and you can get replies back on your iPad.

I have done a search on the APP Store for Text magic and it does not appear anywhere. Is it for jailbroken Ipads?

I found it by Goodle search. it's a 3rd party app and you have to pay for each text.
