So, I ordered my 64GB in gold on the morning of the 13th. I was told on the phone that my phone would be arriving on the 25th. The Verizon site says 10/14. I still expect the 25th. ;) I feel like the Verizon sales rep knows more than a rumor-monger on the internet.

Verizon does 2 day shipping for no charge. So, if your phone shipped yesterday, your phone should arrive tomorrow. I ordered my phone on the 26th and just got the email saying it shipped today and will arrive on Monday.

When did you order yours?

Just an update, by the way thanks for all the replies, you guys were right my phone just shipped today. I will be getting it on Monday 11/12

So, they put by 11/16 just to save themselves if someone received it before another person on the same list I suppose.

I totally would, but I am currently 3 hours away from the closest retail location. I live only 25-30 minutes away from the New Orleans(really Metairie) location, yet I go to school in Florida. So, that is not an option.

So, while I am sure some have ordered this way, I ordered my black iPhone 5 on the 26th of October(my contract upgrade date). The Verizon store associate said the phone would be shipped on the 16th of November, yet the Verizon Wireless website says "*BY* 11/16". Who am I to believe? Most likely...
