I refuse to buy any used device that has a rechargeable battery or an LCD screen. Too maby potential headaches. Your time is worth money too.

Although it's not really a substitute for ipad, I must say that I'm really impressed with these e-ink ereaders. They're really easy on the eyes and the batteries last forever. I used to use kindle on my iPhone. But not anymore.

I love the flash cards app by red5deb. It's lightweight and ugly, but it does the job it's supposed to really well. It's fantastic for studying and learning languages.
