2015 15.4inch Macbook Pro still a good option?

My wife is in dire need of a new Macbook. Her 2010 Macbook Pro is on its last leg. She wants to keep the 15" screen but isn't super sold on really wanting the touchbar or needing it.

A friend of mine works for a graphics company and they regularly cycle out older Macbooks for newer ones. He has a mid 2015 15" Pro i7 with 16GB RAM and 1tb HD with the 370x card. They want $1500 for it. I've looked at it and it's in flawless condition and only has 25 battery cycles.

Any thoughts on if this would be worth purchasing? It seems like a really good deal but I was curious if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks!
