iPhone 4 earpiece speaker really low after screen replacement

Hi,

Every now and then I fix a friends iPhone screen, but sometimes after about a week of this screen replacement the earpiece speaker becomes almost silent, which has happened to 2 different phones now.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Are you dislodging it during disassembly? Another issue could be how it's making contact with the assembly. Try ordering a digitizer from a different supplier and see if the issue persists.
