Iphone 4 screen replacement/microphone issues

Hi,

I've just replaced the screen and speaker on an iphone 4.
Since the repair there is an issue with the microphone.
During a call I can't be heard (only sometimes very quietly), unless using speakerphone or handsfree.
Sound recording works in video camera mode, but voice memo is also not audible (again, sometimes audible but very quiet).
Any advice that can be offered would be massively appreciated.

UPDATE: Now resolved. I found that the small rubber tube that leads from the microphone module to the outer grill had become dislodged during speaker module replacement.
