3.1.2 problem

I have restored my iPhone 3G os 4.1 to an older os3.1.2 and ran blackrai1n. When the phone reboots it does not give me a phone signal. Where it used to say 02-uk and the bars. There is just bars and no provider. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong

Try doing a reset network settings.

do you have extended preferences on it?

in there you can set the carrier name, i forget what you need to get it back to standard but i'm sure it says in the extended preferences bit
