Unlock and Antenna Help

Hi All,

I need some advice. I've managed to find myself an iphone 4.

A guy got a contract upgrade from O2 but he doesn't want it. Its boxed packed and hes got the paper work to prove it was an upgrade. He says the paper has the IMEI number on it to prove it is the phone.

What other things should I check?

Will I be able to get it unlocked from O2?

Are there any problems with the antenna I should know about?

Please help!

Yes, if it's running iOS 4.0 or 4.0.1. Jailbreak it with jailbreakme.com and unlock it with ultrasn0w.

Not unless you are NOT in the usa and your carrier will.

If I buy an iphone 4 on 4.0.1, jailbreak and unlock it...when I come to restore my old iphone 2g data from itunes, will it force me to do an upgrade or will it still remain unlocked and jailbroken?

Wont update unless you tell it to, same as usual like with your 2g iphone....
