HELP!! 3GS jailbroken on 3.01 (need to re-J)

I need some help guys. I have a 3GS that I used redsnow8 through windows to jailbreak to 3.0.1 but it never worked right. I always get the error "cannot connect to itunes store" whenever I try to access the app store.
I am thinking I would like to restore it to 3.0 and then re-jailbreak it to 3.0.1. Is there a way for me to do this? I did capture those IBEC files manually awhile back and saved them, although I have no idea what, if anything I need to do with them.
Anyone kind enough to help me here?

You must have a 3.0 or 3.0.1 firmware to do this. Then hold "shift" and hit restore, which will allow you to navigate to the firmware you want to restore.
